Each year we team up with the Cancer Council for their fashion competition. Fashion students are invited to design a garment for the summer that offers excellent sun protection - both in the pattern design and the fabric. The winning design is manufactured locally in Perth and made available for sale exclusively through Ruck Rover General Store.
The winner for 2026 is Curtin University Fashion student Taylah Dow. Taylah has designed a pair of loose fitting pants with elastic waist and tie detail at the base of the leg. Choose to wear them extended or ruched up.
Sizing & Measurements
Pants are a loose fit, hanging from an elastic waistband. We've measured across the front of the waistband while lying flat and unstretched. Fabric and waistband provide stretch.
Small = 34cm
Medium = 37cm
Large = 39cm
Extra-large = 42cm
Material & Care
Viscose/elastane.
Wash in cold water and dry flat and inside out. Do not tumble dry, do not wring, do not soak.
