I love Christmas. I love the songs, the lights, the menu planning, the catch-up drinks, the movies and trimming the tree. And I really love buying gifts - searching for something that will bring a smile to the faces of my nearest and dearest.
So it often surprises me when I meet people who find it a chore. It's not about how much you buy, or about breaking the bank, but it's about choosing thoughtful gifts that are within your budget. It's being generous within your means. If that means baking treats and crafting gift tags or offering your time to help a friend, that's meaningful stuff. If it means treating your sister to that dress and pair of earrings that she's been lusting after that's really special too.
